(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - At least 2 mourners were killed and 23 others sustained injuries in loud explosion in the Abbas Town area, located on Abul Hasan Ispahani Road.
Two martyrs were reported as Azhar Hussain and a Sunni brother, while injured have been shifted to different hospitals.
The blast, which took place near an Imambargah (Shia Mourning Place), was followed by firing incidents in the area.
The blast took place near the Jamia Masjid Imambargah Mustafa.
Nearby shops are said to have been damaged, while windows at nearby buildings have also reportedly been shattered.
According to police,explosives were planted on a motorcycle bearing plate number KFE-5038, which was parked in a parking lot.
